Entry requirements
A National Senior Secondary Certificate (Ordinary Level) with a minimum of 25 points in the best six subjects, which must include Physical Science, Natural Science or Biology, and English (minimum E symbol); OR a relevant NQF Level 6 National Diploma / Higher Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Certificate in OHS from a recognised institution; OR an NQF Level 5 diploma or certificate in OHS with a minimum of 2 years' work experience in the health and safety environment. Mature-age entry (25+ years) is available for applicants with at least 3 years' related work experience, a Junior Secondary Certificate with an E symbol in English, an acceptable employer reference, and a pass (60%+) in an aptitude test.
