The Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing Science is a one-year, full-time foundational program designed to bridge the gap for students who do not yet meet the entry requirements for the Enrolled Nursing and Midwifery Science program. This qualification provides learners with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to pursue a career in nursing and healthcare.
The program equips students with a strong foundation in basic nursing care, anatomy, physiology, and health sciences—preparing them for further studies in Enrolled Nursing and Midwifery Science at Symanek Training Academy.

Duration: 1 year, full-time
Minimum Admission Requirements:
Valid Grade 10 certificate or NSSC (Ordinary or Higher level)
At least 20 points in six subjects (Grade 10/old curriculum or Grade 9/new curriculum)
At least 18 points in six subjects (Grade 12/old curriculum or Grade 11/new curriculum)
English compulsory (symbol E or better)
Pass in two science subjects (E or better):
Grade 11/12: Biology, Mathematics, Physical Science
Grade 9/10: Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science
Applicants with a Certificate in Care Giving/Health Care (or related field) plus 3 years’ experience may also be considered, provided they meet the basic academic requirements and pass an aptitude test.
